Using Electronics While Driving, Puts SUV in Ditch

A West Union motorist is being charged with causing an accident, by using electronics in his car while driving.

At about 8:45am Monday (May 20), the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Neon Road and Highway 18, just west of West Union.

53 year old Randall Koehn had lost control of his SUV; it left the road and rolled into a ditch.

No one was injured.

Koehn was cited for Unauthorized Use of an Electronic Device.

The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by West Union Police.
