U-turn on Bremer Co. Road Causes 2 Pickup Accident
A driver making a U-turn on a Bremer County road, is being charged with causing an accident.
It happened Tuesday (Aug. 7) at about 12:20pm, at the intersection of V-56 and 210th Street, northwest of Oran.

77 year old Darrell Heidt of Allison was southbound on V-56, when he attempted a U-turn, but pulled in front of another southbound pickup driven by 20 year old Clair Lensing III of Oelwein. Lensing was not able to avoid a collision.
No one was injured. Heidt was charged with making an unsafe turn.
