Two Taken to the Hospital after Car/Motorcycle Accident
Two people were taken to the hospital last night (Wednesday, Aug. 7), after their motorcycle collided with a car in Fayette County.
The Fayette County Sheriff received the report of the accident, just before 6pm Wednesday; it happened near the intersection of Echo Road and Highway 56, just outside of Wadena.
A westbound car, driven by 19 year old Daniel Wander of Clermont, turned left in front of an oncoming motorcycle driven by 29 year old Cameron McDowell of Wadena. The vehicles collided; McDowell and his passenger on the Harley Davidson, 22 year old Kaitlin Dinan of Elgin, were taken to the West Union hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not released.
Both the car and the motorcycle were totaled.
Wander is being charged with Failure to Yield When Making a Left Turn.
