Two Local Men Arrested on Separate Warrants

Two local men have been taken into custody in Oelwein on separate outstanding arrest warrants.

Oelwein Police Officers were called to a disturbance Sunday at about 5pm, in the 400 block of 1st Street NE. 26 year old Darrick Eubanks II of Oelwein was charged with Interference with Official Acts. Eubanks also had three arrest warrants from Black Hawk County.

On Monday (July 20) at 11:30am, Oelwein Police took 33 year old Cory Hursey of Oelwein into custody on a Fayette County warrant for a Sex Offender Registry Violation. Hursey was also wanted in Buchanan County for a Parole Violation.
