Two Arrested on Unrelated Public Intox Charges

Oelwein Police have arrested two area men on alcohol-related charges.

At about 9pm Tuesday (March 28), officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of 5th Avenue NE. There, 22 year old Thomas Rigdon of Oelwein was arrested for Public Intoxication.

And at 11pm Monday (March 27), Oelwein police were called to conduct a welfare check at the corner of 2nd Street and 3rd Avenue NE. During the check, 24 year old Nathaniel Rohrick of Oelwein was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.

The charges are simple misdemeanors.
