Two Arrested in West Union on Valid Warrants

West Union Police have arrested 2 area people for valid warrants.

At about 3am Tuesday (Feb. 4), the West Union Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located at 306 South Pine Street in West Union.

After the search, officers arrested Jason Cole of West Union on a Fayette County warrant; Cole was also charged with Possession of Prescription Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Madison Williams of Winthrop was also taken into custody for a Buchanan County warrant. Both were taken to the Fayette County Jail.

The West Union Police Department was assisted by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
