Two Arrested in Separate Warrants

Oelwein Police have arrested two local residents on separate, unrelated warrants.

Shortly after 6:30pm Tuesday, 42 year old Cesar Alicea of Oelwein was taken into custody in the 1,000 block of 40th street, on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of violation of a no-contact order.

And at about 8:30pm Tuesday, 20 year old Mercedes Larson of Oelwein was arrested in the ten block of 1st avenue SE, on a Buchanan county warrant for child endangerment with serious injury.
