Two Northeast Iowa residents face charges for allegedly violating a court order that they do not have contact with each other.

At about 10pm Sunday the Fayette County sheriff received a request to do a welfare check on a woman at a home in Elgin.

During the investigation, officers determined that 52 year old Connie Anfinson of Wadena was at the Elgin residence of 50 year old Roger Thorson.

Anfinson has a valid no-contact order against Thorson, in which both were violating. Both were taken to the Fayette County jail; Thorson was charged with violation of a no-contact order, and Anfinson was charged with aiding and abetting to the violation of a no-contact order.

Both were held until their initial court appearance.
