Truck Driver Puts Semi into a Fayette Co. Ditch
A young Ossian truck driver is cited for putting his rig into a Fayette County ditch.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office was notified at about 7:30pm Monday (Nov. 20) that a semi and trailer went off the road and into a ditch, northeast of West Union.
An investigation determined that the truck, driven by 19 year old Joseph Henning, was headed north on "J" Avenue, when he lost control of the rig. The semi ended up in the east ditch along the road.
No one was injured, and there was only minor damages to the 2006 Freightliner Conventional Columbia semi and it's attached trailer.
Henning is being charged with Failure to Maintain Control.
