Truck Driver Cited After Rolling His Rig in Fayette County

A semi tractor trailer sustained major damage in a rollover accident in Fayette County.

Just before 10:30am Monday (April 26), the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report of a traffic accident involving a semi in the 6,000 block of Kornhill Road, west of Wadena.

Investigating officers determined that the driver of the truck, 62 year old Dennis Marmann of Fayette, lost control of the semi. The rig went into a ditch and rolled onto it's side.

Marmann was not injured, but there was $50,000 worth of damage to his 2015 International Semi-tractor/trailer.

Marmann was also cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
