Trial Set for NE Iowa Woman Charged with Theft from GSA

OSAGE, Iowa (AP) — A trial is scheduled to begin April 15 for an Osage woman accused of stealing from her Girl Scout troop.

Thirty-eight-year-old Jennifer Nilges has pleaded not guilty to misappropriation of funds and ongoing criminal conduct. Nilges is accused of stealing $1,500 from the troop's account from the end of January through the first week of February.

Police say she wrote checks to pay for personal items.
