Trial Set for Area Woman Accused of Sex with Girls

CHARLES CITY, Iowa (AP) — An August trial has been scheduled for a Charles City woman accused of sexually assaulting two underage girls.

Online court records say 27-year-old Brittany Beek has pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual abuse. Her trial is set to begin Aug. 23.

Police say Beek committed sex acts against the will of the girls on May 11 in her bedroom. Police say she bound the hands of one of the girls.
