Train Collides with Semi in Rural Delaware County

Authorities are investigating an accident involving a train and a semi-trailer truck.
It happened about 2:30pm Monday near Ryan, on Highway 13.

The semi was traveling north, when it went through the railroad crossing, and was struck by a train.

No one was injured, but there was considerable damage to the semi, which was loaded with grain.

It was not known if there were working signals at the crossing.

The accident is under investigation by the Delaware County Sheriff.
