Traffic Stops in Oelwein Result in Arrest, and Citation

An Oelwein man has been arrested on drug and other charges, during a routine traffic stop.

Just before 2pm Tuesday (Nov. 19), Oelwein Police pulled over a vehicle in the 1st block of 1st Avenue SE.
The driver, 32 year old Andrew Lien, was taken into custody on the charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While his License is Barred.

Oelwein Police also conducted a traffic stop shortly after 8pm Tuesday, in the 500 block of Rock Island Road. The driver, 55 year old Carol Campbell, was cited for Driving While her License is Suspended.
