
Traffic Stop Results in Alcohol Charge Against Teen
A local teen faces a charge after getting pulled over in Oelwein.
Shortly after 2am Sunday (March 26), a Fayette County Sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle in Oelwein for a traffic violation.
After an investigation, the driver, 19 year old Jonas Gingerich of Hazleton, was charged with a .02 alcohol violation.
Gingerich was taken to the Oelwein Police Department, where he was tested, processed, and later released.
