
Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests in City of Fayette
Two Cedar Rapids men have been arrested by the Fayette County Sheriff, after a traffic stop in the city of Fayette.
At about 2am Wednesday (Nov. 4), a Fayette County deputy pulled over a vehicle on Highway 150 near Clark Street, for an equipment violation.
After an investigation, the driver, 19 year old Skylar Battaglia, was taken into custody for Driving While Suspended, No Insurance, Failure to Maintain the Use of a Seat Belt, plus two warnings for equipment violations.
His passenger, 26 year old Shea Henderson, was taken into custody for Interference with Official Acts and Failure to Maintain Use of a Safety Belt.
Henderson was also wanted on a warrant from North Liberty, for Burglary in the 1st Degree, with no bond.
Henderson remains in the Fayette County jail, waiting for extradition to Johnson County.
The Fayette Police Department assisted the Fayette County Sheriff in the arrest.
