Traffic Stop in Oelwein Sends Driver to Jail
A young Oelwein man faces charges after his car was pulled over on Memorial Day (May 31).
At about 6pm Monday, Oelwein Police officers made a traffic stop in the 400 block of 4th Avenue SE.

During the investigation, the driver, 19 year old Austin Sullivan, was taken into custody for Driving While his License is Revoked, and Failure to Refile SR22 Insurance.
Sullivan was also given citations for Speeding, and Not Having Insurance.
