Traffic Stop in Oelwein Results in Citation

The Oelwein Police Department reports that a local resident has been cited for a driving infraction early this morning (Wednesday, Aug. 21).

Just after Midnight, officers pulled a vehicle over in the 100 block of 5th Avenue SW. The driver, 53 year old Mack Bass of Oelwein was ticketed for Driving While his License is Suspended.

Oelwein Police are also investigating some vandalism. The Criminal Mischief damage was reported at about 10:30am Tuesday, in the 200 block of 20th Street SE.
