Traffic Stop in Oelwein Leads to Arrest

An Oelwein man has been arrested on a driving infraction.

Just before 3am Thursday (May 16), Oelwein Police officers pulled over a vehicle in the 100 block of North Frederick Avenue. Following an investigation, the driver, 46 year old Bradley Pauling, was taken into custody on a charge of Driving While Barred.

The Oelwein Police Department is investigating a burglary. Officers were called to the 500 block of East Charles shortly after 2:30pm Thursday, on the report of a break-in. No other information was released.
