Three Vehicle Accident Investigated by Fayette Co. Sheriff
The Fayette County Sheriff has released information on an accident involving three vehicles west of Maynard on Saturday morning (July 27).
It happened at the intersection of Highway 150 and 100th Street.
A vehicle driven by 68 year old Rose Kalb pulled out in front of a car driven by Logan Jensen of Ames; the two vehicles did not make contact, however it did cause Jensen to swerve to miss Kalb, and he collided with an SUV driven by Rebecca Voigt of Decorah.
No one was injured, however there was a total of $9,000 damage to the two vehicles that crashed. Kalb was charged with Failure to Yield upon Entering a Through Highway.
And the Fayette County Sheriff was called out to a one-vehicle accident on Monday, at about 7am, at a residence near upper street in Arlington. 60 year old Daniel Guyer of Arlington was in the process of backing his vehicle onto some ramps, when he lost control, and fell out, sustaining some injuries.
Guyer was taken to the West Union hospital for treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
