
Three Charged In Waterloo Home Burglary
Three people have been arrested on charges connected to a home burglary in Waterloo Monday morning (Nov. 5, 2018).
Authorities were called out to investigate a possible burglary in progress at 1176 Cornwall Ave. shortly after 9:30 AM. The suspects fled on foot when officers arrived, Waterloo police said.
According to police, two men were arrested after short foot pursuits. Two other suspects got into a vehicle and attempted to flee, but later exited and fled on foot as officers followed.
Police said one suspect who left the vehicle was located and arrested during a search of the neighborhood. The fourth suspect got away.
The following suspects were booked into the Black Hawk County Jail:
- Deshawn Jackson, 19. Charged with second-degree burglary, interference with officials acts and resisting arrest.
- Rashawn Jackson, 24. Charged with third-degree burglary, criminal trespass and interference with official acts.
- Marcus Bell, 19. Charged with third-degree burglary and interference with official acts.
