Thefts Reported on Southeast Area of Oelwein

The Oelwein Police Department is looking into 2 thefts in the same area of town.

The first one was called in to police shortly after 3:30pm Sunday (May 17), in the 10 block of 20th Street SE.

The second call came in just after 6pm Sunday, also in the 10 block of 20th Street SE.

No other information was released, and both thefts remain under investigation.
