Theft Investigation, Warrant Arrest in Oelwein

An Oelwein man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant.

At about 1am today (Wednesday), Oelwein police arrested 26 year old Benito Trevino on a Fayette County warrant, for failure to appear, on a charge of a probation revocation.

He was taken into custody in the ten block of West Charles.

Oelwein police are investigating a theft.

Shortly after 10:30am Tuesday, police received a complaint of a theft in the ten block of 1st Avenue SE.
