Theft and Burglary on NE Side of Oelwein

During the Labor Day weekend, Oelwein Police were called to a theft and a burglary; both incidents were reported on Saturday (Sept. 5).

At about 10:15am, officers responded to a report of a theft in the 10 block of 6th Avenue NE.

And shortly after 12:15pm, police were called to the site of a break-in in the 100 block of 7th Avenue NE.

No other information was released. Both incidents remain under investigation by the Oelwein Police Department.
