Theft and Burglary Investigation in Oelwein

The Oelwein Police Department is investigating a recent burglary and a theft.

The break-in was reported to police shortly after 10:30pm Tuesday (July 7), from the 400 block of 7th Street SE.

The theft was called in to officers just before 2:30pm Friday, from the 200 block of 2nd Avenue SE.

No other information was released on either incident. Both remain under investigation.
