Teenager’s SUV Strikes Deer, Driver Uninjured

The Fayette County Sheriff reports that a young driver escaped injury, but his SUV was damaged, when it hit a deer over the weekend.

On Saturday (Oct. 13), authorities were notified of the accident on Lincoln Road (Highway 150), just north of West Union. A 2008 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by a juvenile male, was unable to stop to avoid colliding with a deer as it entered the roadway.

The driver, whose name was not released, was not hurt, but there was $1,500 damage to his vehicle.
