RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (AP) — Police say a Richland Center woman tried to kill another woman with anti-freeze.

25-year-old Nina Fields is behind bars on a possible charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. The 68-year-old victim from Richland Center, is recovering at Meriter Hospital in Madison. Richland Center Police Chief Lucas Clements says the woman, whose name is not released, is in stable condition.

Police say the victim's blood tests showed high levels of ethylene glycol, or anti-freeze. The woman was transferred from a Richland Center hospital to Meriter about a week ago.

Fields was arrested on Friday.
