SUV Totaled, Tractor Damaged in Fayette Co. Accident

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating an accident near Arlington, that involved a tractor and an SUV.
Just after 5:30pm Thursday (Nov. 10), the sheriff got a report of the accident that happened on 90th Street, just north of Arlington.

A sport utility vehicle driven by 34 year old Kevin Blume of Maynard, crested a hill, and Blume could not avoid colliding with the rear of a tractor driven by Derek Loomis of Denver, that had an attached trencher.

No one was injured, but the 2017 Ford Escape was totaled, and there was $10,000 damage to the tractor.

Loomis was charged with driving while his license is suspended. The accident remains under investigation.

The Fayette County Sheriff was helped at the scene by the Arlington Fire Department and Ambulance.
