Suspicious Vehicle Report Yields Charges on Teen

A local teenager is being charged, after authorities received a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Shortly after 8:30pm Wednesday (Feb. 7), Oelwein Police were called to the 400 block of 13th Avenue SW on the report of an alleged suspicious vehicle. After an investigation, officers identified 17 year old Justis Tielbein of Oelwein; he was charged with Driving While his License is Suspended.

An Oelwein man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant. Just before 7pm Wednesday, Oelwein Police took 43 year old Michael Miller into custody on a Fayette County warrant. The original charge was Theft in the 3rd Degree. Miller was arrested in the 500 block of Rock Island Road, after an interaction with police.
