Suspicious Vehicle Report Results in Arrest

Fayette County authorities have made an arrest, concerning a suspicious-looking vehicle.
Just before 10pm Friday (Jan. 13), the Fayette County Sheriff took a report of a suspicious vehicle that was being driven around Clermont.

A deputy found the vehicle-in-question, in the 1,000 block of State Street in Clermont.

Following an investigation, 26 year old Daniel Holzer of Calmar was arrested on charges of Operating while Intoxicated-1st Offense, and Open Container of Alcohol as a Driver. He was taken to the Fayette County Jail until his initial court appearance.

An Oelwein woman was arrested by Fayette County authorities on a warrant for a parole violation. Last Wednesday (Jan. 11), 32 year old Patricia Miles was taken into custody on a warrant for an original charge of Burglary in the 2nd Degree. She was held without bond.
