Suspicious Vehicle Report Ends with 2 Arrests
A Northeast Iowa couple has been arrested after authorities got a report of a suspicious vehicle in the city of West Union.
Just before noon Saturday (Aug. 19), the Fayette County Sheriff received a call concerning a suspicious vehicle located in the 100 block of North Oak Street in West Union. Officers located the vehicle, and arrested the passenger, 51 year old William Harris of West Union on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Trespassing.
The driver, 48 year old Melissa Harris, also of West Union, was taken into custody for Trespassing, and Driving with No Insurance.
West Union Police assisted the Fayette County Sheriff in the investigation.
