Suspicious Person Arrested on Alcohol Charge

A report of a suspicious person in a Northeast Iowa neighborhood, has resulted in the arrest of a local man.

Just before 6pm Tuesday (June 6), Oelwein police were called to the 300 block of 1st Street SE in Oelwein, for a reportedly suspicious subject.

Following the investigation, officers arrested 23 year old Domanick Fowlkes of Oelwein, on a charge of Public Intoxication-3rd or Subsequent Offense. The charge is an Aggravated Misdemeanor.
