Icy roads are again being blamed for another traffic accident in Bremer County.

Deputies were called out at about 7:45am Wednesday (Feb. 27) to a two-vehicle accident in the 2600 block of Highway 63, just west of Denver.

A car driven by 20 year old Luis Candelario of New Hampton, went out of control on the ice-covered highway, and collided with a pickup driven by 51 year old Nathan Snyder of Waverly.

No injuries were reported, but there was damage to Candelario's 1997 Oldsmobile 88, as well as Snyder's 2016 Chevrolet Silverado.

No charges were indicated. The accident was investigated by the Bremer County Sheriff, with assistance from the Denver Police Department.
