Have You Visited the Midwest’s Largest Shoe Store?

It's a shoe lover's paradise!

After living in Iowa for nearly three years, I finally made a trip out to Wisconsin. Some friends and I went for a short weekend trip to check out the Badger State. We hit up some of the classic tourist attractions in the area, and I even got myself some authentic Wisconsin cheese curds.

However, one of the highlights of my little vacation was a short stop at this shoe shop.

Located in Black Earth, Wisconsin, the Shoe Box is a MUST VISIT if you are in the area. It is the largest shoe store in the Midwest and one of the biggest in the entire nation!

As someone who has huge feet, I can usually never find cute shoes in my size. I've wasted so much time in department stores' shoe section looking for anything decent to wear, but usually end up finding a boring pair of sneakers or black boots.

However, this store had mountains of shoes in every single size, so I knew that if I found a shoe I loved, they would most likely find it in my size.

The way I'm describing this makes it seem like this is an advertisement of some sort, but it's not! I genuinely am obsessed with this place now!

I was able to snag myself a pair of cherry Doc Martens in my size (which I've never been able to do in any store before).

They carry approximately 180 different brands of shoes ranging from Adidas, Harley Davidson, and even Timberland. The Shoe Box has several full rooms that are stacked with rows upon rows of shoes.

This place had a section for any shoe or mood you might be interested in. There was a fully stocked western shoe wear section and a HUGE children's shoe section.

Plus, the store had shoes in every single size!
