Fayette County authorities have arrested 3 area people on unrelated warrants.


All three arrests happened last Friday (Oct. 20). Just after 4pm, 41 year old Samantha Coonradt of Calmar turned herself into the Fayette County Sheriff's office, on a warrant for Driving while Barred, Driving While Suspended, and OWI-1st Offense. Coonradt was released after posting $5,000 bond.

67 year old Charles Hubbs of Hawkeye was taken into custody on 3 Fayette County warrants for Failure to Appear on 2 charges of Driving While License is Suspended, and Failure to Maintain Control. He was held on $2,000 cash bond pending his court appearance.

And 25 year old Zachary Willie of Randalia was arrested on a Bremer County warrant for probation violation. The original charges were Criminal Mischief, Driving While Barred, and Domestic Abuse-Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Willie was also charged with Interference with Official Acts. He was later transferred to Bremer County.

The Fayette County Sheriff also responded Friday evening to an assault reported at a residence on "T" Avenue, east of Sumner. 67 year old Roger Pagel of Sumner is accused of assaulting a juvenile at the residence. He was arrested and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
