Sheriff Releases Name of Victim in Highway Fatal

Authorities have released the name of a McGregor man, who died in a Thursday morning traffic accident.

It happened shortly after 10:30am, southeast of Monona on Highway 52.

A semi driven by Dalibor Kadic of Louisiana, was rear-ended by a pickup driven by 82 year old Francis Forst of McGregor.

Forst was pronounced dead at the scene. Kadic was not injured.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
