
Sheriff Makes Weekend Drunk Driving Arrests
Authorities have arrested two area motorists accused of drunk driving.
Just after 10pm Sunday (Aug. 10), a deputy from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 150 and 165th Street, a mile north of Fayette. An investigation revealed the driver, 28 year old Stephanie Klimesh of Calmar, was intoxicated. Klimesh was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense, and Child Endangerment.
And shortly after 7pm Friday, the Fayette County Sheriff made a traffic stop at the intersection of West Main and NW Spring Street in St. Lucas. The driver, 30 year old Bryan Snyder of Waucoma, was taken into custody on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated. Snyder was held until his initial court appearance.
