Sheriff Investigates Rollover Near Coggon

The Linn County Sheriff is investigating a one-vehicle rollover accident that put a Cedar Rapids man in the hospital.

It happened just before 6pm Tuesday (April 2) on Seven Hills Road, near Coggon.

A vehicle driven by 30 year old Jon Olivarez, was northbound when he lost control. His vehicle entered a ditch where it rolled, coming to rest on it's side.

Olivarez had to be extricated from the car; he was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment.

The Linn County Sheriff notes that Olivarez was wearing his seat belt.
