The Fayette County Sheriff received multiple calls Monday morning (Feb. 13) regarding vehicles in the ditch on Harding Road, near Clermont.

At about 8am, 27 year old Cynthia Torkelson of Monona was driving south, when she lost control on a curve and drove into the ditch. No one was hurt, but there was $3,000 damage to her 2001 Ford Mustang.

5 minutes later, the sheriff got several calls concerning 2 vehicles in the ditch on Harding Road. 52 year old Kyle Wander of Clermont lost control and entered the ditch. No one was hurt, and damage was not reportable.

At about that same time, one mile east of that accident, a car driven by 51 year old Michael Elsbernd of Ossian went out of control and into a ditch. No one was hurt, and damage was minimal.
