Sheriff Arrests Local Woman After Traffic Stop in Oelwein
An Oelwein woman faces drug and other charges, after she was pulled over Sunday afternoon.
A Fayette County deputy stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of 9th Avenue SW in Oelwein at about 3:30pm.

Following an investigation, 44 year old Jodie Marie Wakeford was taken into custody on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine,1st Offense; Driving While Suspended; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; No Proof of Insurance; and Failure to Wear a Safety Belt.
Wakeford was held in the Fayette County jail in West Union until her initial court appearance.
