Sex Offender Registry Violation Puts an Osage Man in Buchanan County Jail

Buchanan County authorities have arrested an Osage man for several counts of violating the state's sex offender registry.

Just before 6:30pm Saturday (March 2), Buchanan County Sheriff's deputies arrested 24 year old Tyler Uhlenhopp, in rural Winthrop.

Uhlenhopp is being charged with 4 counts of second or subsequent offense of Failure to Comply with the Sex Offender Registry.

He was also taken into custody on 3 arrest warrants from Mitchell, Franklin and Polk Counties.

In Mitchell County, Uhlenhopp was wanted for Failing to Comply with the State Sex Offender Registry-2nd or subsequent offense; in Franklin County he was wanted on a warrant for a Probation Violation, and in Polk County, Uhlenhopp had a warrant for Contempt of Court.
