Several Arrests in NE Iowa, Various Charges

A Hazleton man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant. Last Thursday, the Fayette County sheriff took custody of Nicholas Spratt, from the Buchanan County sheriff. Spratt was taken to the Fayette County Jail in West Union, on a Fayette County warrant for a probation violation. He was held on $5,000 cash bond, pending an appearance before a magistrate.

An Oelwein man has been taken into custody on outstanding warrants. On Friday afternoon, Oelwein police arrested 18 year old Aric Quario of Oelwein on three Fayette County warrants, on original charges of manufacturing with intent to deliver, criminal mischief 2nd, and possession of a controlled substance.

Also Friday afternoon, Oelwein police pulled over a vehicle in the 100 block of 6th Avenue NW. 48 year old Larry Shannon of Oelwein was arrested for driving while barred.

And Oelwein police were called to a domestic disturbance Friday evening, in the 400 block of 5th Avenue NE. Subsequently, 53 year old Neal Fuller of Oelwein was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance. And 55 year old Cathy Wright of Oelwein was cited for a prescription drug violation.
