Semi Rear-ends Car, Janesville Man Injured

Bremer County authorities have charged an Illinois truck driver with causing a traffic accident Tuesday (May 16).

It happened on Highway 218 at 260th Street, just north of Janesville.

A semi driven by 43 year old Leszek Stadnik of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, rear-ended a car driven by 34 year old Daniel Skinner of Janesville.

Skinner sustained minor injuries; he was taken to the Waverly Hospital for treatment.

Stadnik was issued a citation for the accident.

The Bremer County Sheriff was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Janesville First Responders, and Waverly Ambulance.
