Some northeast Iowa school districts are closed today, due to winter weather

A winter storm warning is posted for nearly all of northeast Iowa until Wednesday morning. Snow is expected to start by mid-morning and become heavier and more widespread throughout the day, before ending overnight. Forecasters are predicting snowfall totals between 4" and 7" north of U.S. Highway 30, with some isolated higher amounts a possibility.
