Rollover Accident Sends Oelwein Teen to Hospital

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating a one-vehicle rollover accident southwest of Oelwein.

Deputies were called out at about 7:45pm Wednesday (Feb. 3) near the intersection of "R" Avenue and 10th Street.

A car driven by 19 year old Christian Rhoades of Oelwein was southbound on "R" when he lost control and drove into the ditch. The vehicle rolled onto it's top.

Rhoades was taken by private vehicle to the Oelwein hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

His 2002 Chevy Cavalier was totaled.
