Floyd County authorities may have solved several recent burglaries with the arrest of a local man.
Last Thursday (July 7) the Floyd County Sheriff was contacted about a theft in the 3200 block of 1st Street in the town of Colwell. After looking into the matter, 39 year old Daniel Connerley of Floyd was arrested and charged with 4th Degree Theft.

As a result of that investigation, the Floyd County Sheriff and Charles City Police executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of 16th Avenue, looking for items associated with the theft.
