Postville Search Finds Meth for Use and Sale
A search of a home in Postville has resulted in methamphetamine-related charges against 2 area residents.
Just before 11am last Thursday (Jan. 16), the Allamakee County Sheriff and Postville Police executed a search warrant at 144 North Boody Street in Postville.
Officers found and seized numerous items that are consistent with the use and sale of meth.
As a result of the search, 55 year old Kevin McLaughlin and 33 year old Mickey Ellis, both of Monona, were taken into custody.
Both McLaughlin and Ellis are being charged with a Controlled Substance Violation, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
McLaughlin and Ellis were held in the Allamakee County jail in Waukon, each on a $25,000 cash bond.
