Police Looking to Find Owner of Lost Drugs

Authorities in nearby Southwest Wisconsin are using a little humor to try to locate and arrest the owner of some illegal drugs, found in a parking lot over the weekend.

A baggie of what appears to be Methamphetamine, was discovered at about 8:30pm last Sunday (Oct. 21), in the parking lot of Kwik Trip North on Marquette Road in Prairie du Chien.

In a Facebook post, the Prairie du Chien Police Department has a picture of the baggie, and asks the owner to contact police and claim their item, stating that: "we strive to find the rightful owner of lost property".

So far, the owner has not yet stepped forward.
