Police Look Into Vandalism and Theft in Oelwein

The Oelwein Police Department is investigating a theft and some vandalism.

Just before 8am Thursday (Oct. 12), police got a report of criminal mischief in the 2600 block of South Frederick Avenue.

And at about 4pm Thursday, authorities received a theft complaint from the 300 block of 8th Avenue SE.

No other information was available; both incidents remain under investigation.
