Police Look Into Burglary and Vandalism in Oelwein

A burglary and some vandalism incidents are under investigation by the Oelwein Police department.

The break-in was called in to authorities just before 11pm Saturday (March 21) from the 100 block of 5th Avenue NE. No other details were released.

The criminal mischief incidents were reported to Oelwein Police Wednesday morning in the 10 block of 5th Avenue NE, and again Friday morning also in the in the 10 block of 5th Avenue NE. The last criminal mischief incident was reported to Oelwein Police on Sunday evening, in the 100 block of 2nd Street NE.

All remain under investigation.
